LAURELHURST Bathroom

This timeless, elevated bathroom blends modern design with the character of a neocolonial home. We transformed a split bath with a separate tub and shower into one cohesive, spacious haven, featuring a stand-up shower, extra built-in linen storage, and improved functionality throughout. Taupe wainscoting, black marble floors, and botanical-print wallpaper create a layered palette, making this one of our favorite projects to date.

A LOOK BEFORE THE REDESIGN

Bathrooms should first and foremost function well, they’re some of the hardest working spaces in a home. This renovation transformed two dark, disconnected rooms into one cohesive, light filled space with a more open and efficient layout.

Bathroom with white tiled floor, black diamond accents, a vent on the floor, toilet partially visible on the left, and a bathtub on the right, with a gray wall in the background.

“Katherine was great at bridging the client's design tastes into a concrete plan for a new master bathroom. Her design was thorough, and her attention to details made installation go smoothly. When questions came up, Katherine was quick to respond. Highly recommend!”

A man wearing a gray cap, safety glasses, and black gloves is working on a home renovation. He is standing in front of a partially finished wall with floral patterned wallpaper. There are construction tools, a step ladder, and electrical boxes around him, and a temporary work light illuminates the area.
